After almost 10 months of silence on the site I'm finally getting around to writing an update. I promise more frequent updates. It's not that we haven't been camping or that there hasn't been something to write about....it's just a matter of finding the time and energy to write about it.

I'm kind of mashing up the last two days of our trip. For those that want the really short version....we're home. We got back to Richmond at around 3:30 on New Year's Eve. We unloaded the rig as much as we wanted to and then took it to storage. We then went back on New Year's Day and finished the cleanup in a pretty heavy downpour.

Today was the longest and farthest road day yet. We covered 600 miles in 10 hours and that includes stops for gas, lunch and a visit to a Camping World in Mississippi. (at least I think it was Mississippi). We touched 5 states today - Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
